Per oral endoscopic myotomy is a procedure performed for Achalasia cardia. We make a submucosal tunnel and then perform full thickness myotomy of the esophageal muscle and then close the tunnel with clips. This procedure is endoscopic equivalent of Laparoscopic Heller’s myotomy.
